Beach! Sun! and tacos! All the things I enjoyed on a trip to Mexico.
Later we passed by a small fishing town called Guaymas.
But more of that later...

Finally! After a 9 hour trip in the car we reach our destination, Navojoa, Sonora

On the evening of our arrival we went to my great granny's birthday party. She turned 91! Don't be fooled by her age,, she still has some fight left in her (in this picture she's eating a strawberry she swiped off her cake)

Don't think that her party was dull because she's old! This is my crazy aunt who was possibly drunk (or not). She was in full clown costume dancing to some cumbias.

The beach! The next day we drove down to Huatabampito and were greeted by the sight of these awesome waves.

After taking a quick dip my grandma made us some delicious tortas.

And look! I made a sand sculpture in the likeness of a clam shell (this was moments before my grandma stepped on it)

All too soon the sun began to set and it was time for us to leave.

Although not before a crab decided to try and make a meal out of us!

That sneaky crab tried to take a bite outta my foot!

On our way back to the U.S we stopped by in Guaymas (remember I mentioned it earlier?) and had some food at this little restaurant called "La Pasadita". And boy was the food good! They had mostly sea food, but also some carne asada and chicken, and every bit we tried was fabulous!

Our last stop in Mexico was at a Dairy Queen of all places. But this Dairy Queen was awesome, they had blizzards with just about any type of cookie you wanted. And, true to their motto, our blizzards were served upside down! Cool!
